WOLFVILLE ANNAPOLIS VALLEY BACKYARD WEDDING

We started off our wedding season last year with these two. Days leading up to their wedding, we were keeping our fingers crossed that the forecast would change… but it didn’t.

The day started off with rain and strong winds. We had to resort to Plan B, or C or D? and it was decided that the ceremony will take place in the backyard of Jennie’s parents in Wolfville that had a stunning view of Blomidon. Family and friends started to arrive and everything was slowly coming together — it still continued to rain during the ceremony, however, it started to trickle down as the afternoon went by. That gave us a reprieve from the bad weather and boy did we make the MOST out of it!! We ventured to different places in the Annapolis valley with Jennie and Greg — and being the outdoor, adventurous, fun-loving couple that they are, made sure that every single moment counted.

When we were planning for their day, it was important to them to have memories they could look back on, doing things they loved to do — especially since they would be moving to another province shortly after the wedding. The skies eventually cleared up, the fog lifted and luck was on our side — we couldn’t believe we would end up seeing a breathtaking view of Cape Split (one of their favorite hikes to do), especially after how the day started.

After two postponements and a few more curveballs, we were soooooo happy we finally got to celebrate with these two and their loved ones, who made us feel like family. Thank you so much for having us, Jennie and Greg! This was definitely one for the books!
